Different ways to use fillers or botox

different ways to use botox

There are a lot of different ways to use fillers or botox to make temporary changes in your face. The treatments are suitable for a lot of issues – everything from minimizing wrinkles or enlarging lips with lip injections, to soften a hard jaw.

Treatments with botox or fillers are very effective and rejuvenating and can help you deal with common issues in the face related to for example aging.

What are fillers good for?

The primary quality for fillers is, as the name reveals, to “fill out” – i.e. restore volume to the face. Fillers are usually good for treating issues from the eye down, such as wrinkles around the nose, mouth or chin, or under the eyes.

Today, fillers are also the best and only choice for lip injections. Other great ways to use fillers could be to fill out hollow cheeks, to smoothen wrinkles that appear around the mouth, nose or chin when you laugh, or to make the jawline less defined.

With fillers, you can plump your lips to make them bigger, turn downward corners of the mouth the other way, or perhaps even get rid of that bump on your nose. There are a lot of possibilities!

What are botox good for?

Rather than fillers, botox is more suitable for treating the kind of wrinkles that are caused by muscle use, often in the forehead or around the eyes. With botox, you can make a great change to most of the upper part of your face – such as smoothen lines in the forehead or lifting the eyebrows for a more alert and fresh look. The common lines forming around the eyes when you laugh, the crow’s feet, as well as wrinkles in between the eyebrows are very common issues to treat with botox.

As you can see, there are a lot of different ways to use both fillers and botox, because of their different strengths and functions. To get the best idea of what either one of the treatments might be able to do for you, feel free to book a consultation with us the Aesthetic Institute in Dublin, Ireland.
